Today almost everything can be done from your own home. You could pay bills, work, shop, research, and yes even find quotes on life insurance all online.
The web has made life easier. Older people may say that the world wide web has made people lazy, but I would say that it has made life better. Recently my husband and I talked about having only on the job life insurance was bad idea, since I had just lost my job. We should have had this conversation a long time ago, but we didn't and knew that we had to find a reasonable life insurance policy. Well the life insurance and income would be gone. That is simply a chance that we cannot take.
Many times we take chances with decisions that need to be made, but not having life insurance, should not be one of those things. Having life insurance is definiteley important and we definitely need to rectify this situation. We then began my search for life insurance, and yes there was a lot of information on the web. But in the process I learned a lot of information. Of course we were looking for the best rate available for our family, because I was aware that if you are a smoker, the monthly rate would be higher. I also was looking for a company that did not require extensive medical screenings. We didn't want to go through the process of giving blood, and paying for all of our medical records. All of these things were important to us.
While on the internet I was able to find a lot companies that had the exact insurance plans that we were looking for. There was one site that stood out; it gave quotes from several different companies. This was going to be a time saver. It took me a few hours to research information about the different types of insurance that was available, and after this I wanted the quotes process to be a quick one.
Now there were a lot of websites that gave quotes to multiple life insurance companies. The few We check out had a lot of advertisements that I had to go through before I got a quote. And this is again unacceptable. Don't get us wrong I understand that the internet is a great way to get new business, but when we are handling business I don't want the additional distractions.
